Be still my heart...holiday card time!

It is my favorite time of year.  You think I mean the holiday season, right?  Well, yes and no.  Yes, I do love the season and all that comes with it (well, with the exception of family headaches, long lines and crabby people in mall parking lots, ha) but I'm really talking about holiday cards.  For me, specifically...photo cards.  It started when I got married five (gasp!) years ago.  Our first "married" Christmas, I had so much fun getting my feet wet playing around with the magical question of which beautiful wedding photo to use in our first Christmas card as a married couple.  My husband probably could've cared less about sending a card, much less a photo card, but for me...swoon!  I loved the whole process, selecting the photo, narrowing it down to the type of feel I wanted for the card, etc.  And that was all she wrote...I had become a photo card creating machine after that year.  The cards were beautiful and definitely made a statement.  The following year when our daughter, Norah Rose, was born, again I used Shutterfly for her birth announcements and of course, again for our holiday card

Each year I wait with baited breath to see the latest and greatest holiday card designs.  I just have so much fun with the whole process each and every year.  Shutterfly's photo cards can't be beat.  You can customize them beyond belief and the options are limitless.  Even those who are creatively challenged are sure to find a template that's just right for them.

I'm still deciding on what photo card design to go with this year.  One of my favorites is this card.  I could use one amazing photo of my daughter for the front, or customize with several photos that make a statement about the year our family has had.  Most of all, I love the use of black and white photos with the color ink from the card.  Love it!

Shutterfly even has other products that are simple, inexpensive and give the "wow" factor that only a photo gift can give.  Check out these adorable photo mugs!  I can think of several family members that would love to receive one of these as a holiday gift.

Shutterfly is offering an amazing deal on all photo products right now including photo cards.  Photo cards are on sale at a discount of up to 30% off.  Gotta love that.

Happy creating and best wishes for a wonderful holiday season!
